Welcome Back To Dance!

A new dance year is here already & it’s going to be a big one! We hope you’re feeling restored & ready to take on 2025.

Mid-year concert date scan be found to the right so that you can pencil them into your diary.

All students are involved in concerts (with the exception of Tinies who perform at the December show only), so please let your teacher know in advance if your student will not be available. Young students will perform in 2 shows only -it’s tiring work!

As always, we are on the hunt for costume co-ordinators. One rep per class is required. If you are interested, please add your name to the list at the studio or contact us directly. A meeting will be held at the studio on 14th March, 6pm for juniors & 6.45pm for seniors. Any classes that do not have a co-ordinator will have one hired for them & will share the cost. Please ensure your deposit is paid on time as costumes will only be distributed to students whose accounts are paid.

In some cases, there maybe a small top up required to cover the full cost of a costume however this is usually minimal. There are 2 new classes starting this year – Mini Jazz for 3.5-6 year olds &Acro for ages 5+. Contact us to arrange a trial class. We are also participating in Schools Challenge again, please speak to Christie for more details.

A few reminders – Grade 4 students can now wear a hot pink leotard & skirt to class (any style). Students wishing to do pointe work must be doing 2 ballet classes per week. Students in reception – year 9 can now access x2 sports vouchers per year!

Let us know if your child is interested in ballet exams. Students aged 5 & a half & up may be eligible. The teachers will assess a student’s technical & emotional readiness before we invite them to participate. Please note that exams will require extra classes.
